- How to Prepare
Stay hydrated with plenty of water. Dress comfortably in athletic wear and socks. There's no need to warm up beforehand; our Lock & Stretch technique ensures you're ready to go.
- What to Expect
Before you begin, your certified stretch tech will greet you and discuss any injuries or areas you'd like to focus on. We then guide you through each stretch slowly and safely, never pushing past what you’re comfortable with.

The First Stretch is a 40-minute session. Afterward, you'll have the choice to book 20, 40, or 60-minute flexibility sessions based on your preference and our recommendations.
The First Stretch is 40 minutes for $40. After that, the price depends on the duration and frequency of sessions you’d like. Consistency yields the best results so we reward members with discounted pricing.
Dress comfortably in athletic attire and socks. As you probably would’ve guessed, “stretchy” clothing is helpful.
Many of our clients initially come in with injuries. We can work around the affected area, ease into stretches slowly, and modify the session as needed to ensure your comfort throughout the experience.
While Chiropractors typically focus directly on the joints, we focus on the muscles and tissue around the joints. Everything we do is spine neutral so we won’t be adjusting the neck or spine. Both chiropractic care and assisted stretching can be beneficial and complementary to each other.
We use a myofascial release technique called Lock & Stretch that is similar to a sports massage in that we are working with the connective tissue to enhance circulation, recovery, and overall mobility. We then combine that with PNF stretching to help you activate your muscles and stretch deeper than you would on your own.
The system we use was in fact designed by a Physical Therapist. The main difference lies in the time spent on manual bodywork. A typical PT session includes a bit of manual work with more coaching on corrective exercise, while a typical session at Stretch U is 90% bodywork with us providing a couple of suggestions of things to do on your own as well.
