The 20 minute sessions includes our full-body Carey Stretch. During this session, a certified Stretch Tech takes your body through 108 stretches covering every major muscle group using PNF and passive stretching techniques.
The First Stretch is a 30 minute introduction to what Stretch U is all about. We start with our 20 minute Carey Stretch, followed by a 10 minute demo of the Lock & Stretch. During this session, we can answer any questions you might have about assisted stretching and its many benefits.
A 60 minute session begins with the Lock & Stretch and is followed by the Carey Stretch. This session provides more time to focus on specific areas of the body during the Lock & Stretch. This is the best choice for those who truly want to maximize their results.
We can spend more time on certain areas but we always stretch the entire body.

The average price ranges around $1 per minute depending on the package or membership you select. If it’s your first time, we recommend trying our 4 session promotional package for $69. This will give you a chance to come in consistently for 2 weeks to experience the benefits of consistent stretching at a great price!
The Lock & Stretch is our full-body myofascial release developed exclusively for Stretch U studios. The Lock & Stretch technique locks down your fascia while stretching your muscle to release the tissues and increase circulation for the entire body.
Everything we do is spine neutral and spine supported so we don’t do any manipulations or adjustments to the back or neck. However, during the 40 or 60 minute session, we work on the fascia of the upper traps and muscles around the neck.
We recommend coming in twice per week for a 40 minute session to see maximum benefits. We also encourage some stretching on your own in between sessions at Stretch U.
Stretching before a workout will warm the tissue and improve range of motion allowing for increased performance. Stretching after a workout will help facilitate faster recovery. Try both and see what you like better!
All locations are open 9:00am-7:00pm Monday through Friday and 9:00am-4:00pm on Saturday. Our Kearny Mesa location is also open 9:00am-2:00pm on Sundays.

We just require a 12 hour notice from the scheduled appointment time.
Yes, but we recommend making an appointment at least 1 week in advance because we stay very busy.
We do not currently franchise but we will be doing so in the future.
All of our stretch technicians have a background in Kinesiology, massage therapy, or a related field with a solid background in the human body. Our technicians complete an extensive training on our techniques before they are allowed to work with clients in studio.
